State Open Squad

The State Open Squad is the fifth squad within the NSC State Stream and provides coaching and support to athletes who are qualified for, with intention to compete, at Victorian State Championship events throughout the year. The squad will cater for a higher level of specificity and individualisation of training plans in consideration of the athlete’s goals. Athletes are primarily 16 years and older and expected to attend 4-6 sessions per week, in consultation with their squad coach.
