Hanson Squad is designed for young swimmers as an introduction to squad training. The focus is very much on developing and advancing stroke technique whilst further developing starting and turning skills. At this stage the children are also exposed to a basic structured training program aimed at developing strength and endurance.
One of the main aims of the group is to increase young swimmer’s motivation to continue with the sport. Hanson squad specially caters for the needs of the young swimmer, and as such, aims to stimulate and challenge children with fun and variety. Swimmers are required to attend 2 Hanson squad sessions per week.
Hanson squads are conducted at Nunawading and Syndal.

The training fee for Hanson Squad at Nunawading is:
$25.35 per week for swimmers training 2 sessions per week ($14.50/wk for 1/wk, $32.60/wk for 3/wk)
The maximum discount for the 2nd & 3rd sessions at Nunawading will be 25% and 50% (ie. no family discount as well).
The training fee for Hanson Squad at Syndal is:
$23.10 per week for swimmers training 2 sessions per week ($13.50/wk for 1/wk, $33.75/wk for 3/wk)
The maximum discount for the 2nd & 3rd sessions at Syndal will be 25% and 50% (ie. no family discount as well).
Term payment applies at both centres.

Customers must pay their account in full when they receive their invoice, approximately 3 weeks before the beginning of each term.
Hanson squad swimmers do not train during school holidays or on public holidays.
