NUNA DUO HEAD TO PARALYMPICS
Nunawading Swimming Club’s Prue Watt has headed off to the Paralympics in Beijing.

Prue will compete in 6 events at the Paralympics and will be up in the first event on the first day in her main event the 100m Butterfly.

Prue has been training at Nunawading for the past 15 months and has improved in all her events.

Also traveling with Prue as a coach on the Australian Paralympic team is her coach and Nunawading Head Coach, Amanda Isaac.

The team will complete a training camp in Kuala Lumpur and then move into Beijing a few days prior to the Paralympics. All the swimmers, parents and coaches wish Prue and Amanda well over the next few weeks.

The swimming at the Paralympics will commence on Sunday 7 September 2008 and will run for 8 days. Heats will be held at 9:00am (11:00am in Melbourne) and finals at 5:00pm (7:00pm in Melbourne).
