NEW UNIFORM FOR NUNAWADING SWIMMING CLUB

The Nunawading Swimming Club will be launching a new uniform in the 2011/12 Swimming Season.

The new look Nunawading brand is incorporated in the new uniform, and we are very excited about the fresh look.

While timelines are still being developed, the Club expects that the new uniform will be available to members around
July / August 2011.

The Club will launch the uniform and the new club logo at the Annual Presentation Evening on Saturday 28 May 2011.

The new uniform will include a polo shirt, tracksuit top, tracksuit pants, shorts and swim cap.
There will also be a whole range of ‘training and social’ gear available later in 2011 ranging from Hoodies to drink bottles and supporter shirts to training singlets.

There will be a New Uniform Order Day held at the Club in the next 6 to 8 weeks with the date yet to be determined.  Orders and payments for the new uniform will be taken on this day.  We will also be ordering a small quantity of stock for new members in 2011.

The new uniform will cost an average of 30% less than the existing uniform, whilst retaining a quality product.

Our current uniform has been pretty much the same since the late 1990’s with some small modifications in 2003.  It is time for us to modernise our look and feel and our branding and this initiative will be very exciting for all members of the Club in the years ahead.

Current Uniform
Yes, we do still hold a small amount of current uniform in stock and we will be selling this at well below cost price in an effort to minimise the stock held at mid-year.  The current uniform will be worn until the changeover period which will be in 5 to 6 months.  It may still be worn after this date to training.

Transition Period
All members will be encouraged to own and wear the new uniform by Sunday 14 August 2011 at the Nunawading Short Course Meet (Our current proposed launch date to the rest of the world).

Finally, a huge thank you to small group of volunteers who have worked with myself and Head Coach Amanda Isaac on this project over the past 18 months.

More details will be released soon.
