Just Swimming - Make- up Policy
Just Swimming offers make-up swimming lessons as a courtesy to all customers who have notified us that they cannot attend one of their scheduled swim classes.
Customers are offered, as a courtesy, a maximum of two make-up swim lessons during any one term of swimming if places are available. All make-up lessons must be completed within the term of the missed lessons. If more than 2 make-up swimming lessons are needed a medical certificate is required.
24 hours notice must be given for a cancellation of a lesson. No notification, no make-up lesson.
To cancel a lesson:
- Parents are asked to notify the Just Swimming Centre their child is enrolled in WELL BEFORE the lesson to be missed to advise that you are unable to attend.
To organise a make-up lesson:
- Parents are asked to phone the Just Swimming centre their child is enrolled in no more than 24 hours prior to organise a make-up lesson. Please know your child’s class level which will be on the back of your child’s lesson card.
- Make-up lessons should be completed as soon as possible after the missed lesson.
- Make-up lessons may be taken before the missed lesson, if you know you are going to be away later in the term eg. family holiday, school camp.
Do not leave your make-up swiming lesson until the last week of term. You may miss out due to full classes.

To Cancel Your Booking
Cancellation of bookings can only be done at the end of a term. If you wish to cancel your booking permanently, please notify reception staff ASAP. There is no refund for remaining lessons if the cancellation occurs during the term.
If the cancellation is due to medical reasons, a credit may be given upon receipt of a Doctor’s certificate verifying the medical reason for the cancellation.
Please notify reception staff if your child will not be continuing the following term once invoices are issued.
